Car
From Berea, head southeast on the main road (A2) towards Maseru. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit towards the R37. Follow the R37 until you reach the junction at JW36+6X6. Turn left and continue until you see signs for Qiloane Falls. There may be a small parking area near the trailhead. Ensure to have a GPS or map application handy, as some roads may not be well marked.
Public Transportation
Catch a taxi or minibus from Berea to Maseru. Once in Maseru, transfer to a taxi heading towards Qiloane Falls. Be sure to confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at the nearest point to the falls. The fare should be relatively inexpensive, but it’s advisable to have some cash on hand. After getting dropped off, you may need to walk a short distance to the trailhead. Be prepared for a hike of about 1-2 hours depending on your pace.
Hiking
Once you arrive at the trailhead near JW36+6X6, follow the marked hiking trail towards Qiloane Falls. The trail can be rocky and steep in places, so wear appropriate hiking shoes and carry water. The hike offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. The falls are roughly a 1-hour hike from the trailhead, and the sound of the water will guide you as you approach.
