From any location in the Maluti Mountains region, head towards the R26 road. Follow the R26 until you reach Mapoteng. Once in Mapoteng, use a GPS or mapping app and look for the coordinates WWCW+3GQ. The park is located at approximately latitude -29.079797 and longitude 27.9463542. Keep an eye out for local signage indicating Limamarela Park as you approach. Parking is available near the park, but availability may be limited. Parking costs are typically around M5-M10 per hour.
Public Transport
From Maseru or other nearby towns, take a minibus taxi to Mapoteng. Minibus taxis are a common mode of transport in Lesotho. Upon arriving in Mapoteng, you can either walk to the park (approximately 30-45 minutes) or take a local taxi. The cost of a minibus taxi from Maseru to Mapoteng is approximately M12-M13. A local taxi from the Mapoteng drop-off point to the park should cost around M15-M20.
