Start at the Maseru Bus Station, located at 29°18'42"S 27°28'25"E. From the bus station, head east on Moshoeshoe Road. Walk for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Kingsway Road. Continue straight onto Kingsway Road.

After walking for another 10 minutes on Kingsway Road, you will come across the Maseru Mall on your right. Continue straight past the mall, and you’ll see the Lesotho Sun Hotel. Keep walking straight on Kingsway Road for about another 20 minutes.

Once you pass the hotel, look for the sign directing you towards Lancers Gap. The route will take you onto a smaller road that winds through the countryside. Follow the signs and continue walking for about 30 minutes until you start to see the natural landscape leading to the gap.
