If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the main entrance of Thaba-Bosiu National Monument. Exit the monument and head south on the main road towards Maseru. Continue driving for about 15 kilometers. You will see signs for Basotho Hat on your right. Turn onto the road leading to Basotho Hat, which is located at MFPH+Q9G, Maseru. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a minibus taxi from Thaba-Bosiu National Monument to Maseru. Look for a taxi heading to Maseru and ask the driver to drop you off near the Basotho Hat, located at MFPH+Q9G. The fare should be around 15 to 20 Maloti. From the drop-off point, walk approximately 5 minutes to reach Basotho Hat.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Thaba-Bosiu National Monument and prefer to walk, exit the monument and head south along the main road towards Maseru. It is a distance of about 15 kilometers, which may take approximately 3 to 4 hours on foot. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
