Walking
Start from the center of Thaba-Tseka, near the main market area. Head east on the main road towards the village of Mateka. After about 3 kilometers, you will reach a junction. At this junction, turn left onto the unnamed road. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you see signs for Kome Caves. The caves will be located on your right, and you will see a small path leading to the entrance.
Bicycle
If you have a bicycle, begin in the main square of Thaba-Tseka and ride east along the main road. After about 3 kilometers, you will come to a junction. Turn left onto the unnamed road and continue straight for 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Kome Caves on your right. There is a small path leading to the entrance where you can park your bicycle.
Local Transport (Taxi)
From Thaba-Tseka, you can take a local taxi (also known as a 'combi') towards Mateka. Inform the driver you want to go to Kome Caves. The taxi will drop you off near the junction. From there, walk down the unnamed road for about 1.5 kilometers; the Kome Caves will be on your right. If you need assistance, ask locals for directions.
