From the center of Kakata, head south on the main road (Kakata-Duala Road) towards Duala. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading towards the village of Gbarnga. Look for local landmarks like the Kakata Market on your left as you walk. Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto the road leading to Gbarnga and walk straight for about 1 kilometer. You will start to see signs for Mama's Lake. Keep an eye out for local guides who can assist you further as you approach the lake area.
