Benghazi Zoo: A Green Escape

Benghazi Zoo, established in 1956, is more than just a place to see animals; it's a cherished landmark offering a green oasis within the city. Known locally as Al Fuwayhat or Il Bosco, a nod to its Italian heritage, the zoo combines wildlife exhibits with park-like amenities, making it a popular destination for families, school groups, and tourists alike.
