Getting There

    From Maienfeld train station, follow the red 'Heidiweg' signs. The trail leads through the town, past vineyards, and up to Heidi Village. The walk to Heididorf takes approximately 35-40 minutes. Luggage storage is available at the Heidi-Shop near the train station for a small fee. The Heidiweg is a circular route, eventually leading back to the train station.

  • Public Transport

    Take a train or bus to Maienfeld train station. From May to October, on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, the Heidi Bus (PostAuto) runs from Maienfeld station directly to Heididorf. The bus ride takes about 4 minutes and costs CHF 1-3. Check the SBB website for the exact schedule. Alternatively, you can walk the Heidiweg from the train station (see 'Walking' guidance).

    Take the A13 motorway to exit 13 'Maienfeld'. Follow the brown signs for 'Heididorf' to reach the center of Maienfeld. From there, follow the signs with the car or bus symbol to the Heididorf car park, located near Hotel Restaurant Heidihof. Parking is free.
