The museum is situated between Städtle and Äulestrasse, with the entrance on the Städtle side. Look for the distinctive black cube building.

The Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein is easily accessible by bus. Take any bus line to the 'Vaduz Post' bus stop. From there, walk along Städtle; the museum is approximately a 5-minute walk straight ahead at Städtle 32. Bus tickets can be purchased directly from the driver. A single fare from nearby towns such as Schaan or Sargans costs between CHF 3.40 and CHF 5.80. A day pass for the entire Liechtenstein bus network costs CHF 12.
