Walking
From Bregenz city center or Bregenz Hafen (port), the Pfänderbahn valley station is approximately a 15-20 minute walk. Follow the signs towards 'Pfänderbahn'. The route is mostly flat, leading you through the town to Steinbruchgasse 4, where the valley station is located.

From Bregenz train station or the downtown area, take a city bus to the 'Pfänderbahn' bus stop, which is directly in front of the valley station. Bus lines in Bregenz are operated by Stadtwerke Bregenz. A single fare is approximately €2-3.

A taxi or ride-share from Bregenz train station or the city center to the Pfänderbahn valley station will take approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The estimated cost is €10-€15.

Parking
If driving, follow signs to Pfänderbahn. Limited parking is available at Parkplatz Pfänderbahn P6 (Steinbruchgasse 4), which has 60 spaces. Additional parking is available at Parkhaus Pfaenderbahn P15 (Schillerstraße 3), with 136 spaces. Parking fees apply at both locations. P6 can fill up quickly during peak season. Expect to pay around €2-3 per hour.

Cable Car
The final approach to the summit of Pfänder Mountain requires a ride on the Pfänderbahn cable car. A round-trip ticket costs €18 for adults and €9 for children (ages 6-15). Family tickets are also available. The cable car operates daily from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, with departures every 30 minutes during the week and every 15 minutes on weekends. Evening rides are possible upon request.
