From St. Gallen train station, take tram lines 1, 2, 7, or 8, or bus lines 120, 121, 201, 210, 211, 240, 241, or 242 to the 'Theater' stop. From there, it's a short 3-minute walk to the museum. A single ticket within the OSTWIND zone costs approximately CHF 3.00-4.00.

The Kunstmuseum St.Gallen is located approximately 8 minutes walking distance from the St. Gallen train station. From the Bahnhofplatz, walk southwest towards St. Leonhard-Strasse, turn right to stay on St. Leonhard-Strasse, after the small park turn left onto Pestalozzistrasse until Davidstrasse. Turn right and follow the road to number 44. The entrance to the foyer of the open art museum is on the right side on the mezzanine.

Reach the Kunstmuseum via the A1 Autobahn exit «St. Gallen St. Fiden». The closest parking is at the Parkhaus Brühltor, a 2-3 minute walk to the museum. Parking costs vary, with blue zone day parking passes available for CHF 10. Expect to pay around CHF 2-3 per hour at nearby parking garages.
