Forscherweg Malbun: A Kid-Friendly Alpine Adventure

The Forscherweg Malbun is a delightful and educational hiking trail located in Malbun, Liechtenstein, designed to spark curiosity and exploration in children. This 1.4-kilometer path features ten interactive stations, each offering unique challenges and opportunities to learn about the alpine environment. The adventure begins at the "Schlucher-Treff" near the entrance of Malbun, where a weather station and sundial introduce kids to concepts of weather and time. As they continue along the trail, young explorers discover the local flora and fauna, solve puzzles, and engage in musical activities. The stations are constructed from natural materials, primarily stone, blending seamlessly with the environment. To enhance the experience, families can rent a rucksack from the Malbun Center, equipped with tools like a magnifying glass, ruler, LED light, and a waterwheel kit. The rucksack also includes a journal with questions and tasks related to each station, encouraging children to document their findings. Completing the Forscherweg is a rewarding experience, culminating in the "Forscher-Thron" (Explorer's Throne), a perfect spot for a photo opportunity.
