Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Vaduz, take the Liechtenstein Bus line 21 to Malbun Zentrum. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. From the Malbun Zentrum bus stop, it's a short walk to the Bergbahnen Malbun (Malbun chairlifts). From June 14 to July 31, 2025, a replacement minibus service to Sareis is available due to chairlift maintenance; the cost is CHF 10 for adults and CHF 5 for children. From August 1, 2025, the Sareis chairlift will resume operation, costing CHF 10.30 for adults and CHF 5.70 for children for a one-way trip. Bus fare from Vaduz to Malbun: Approximately CHF 3-4.

  • Driving

    From the A13 highway, take the Sevelen/Vaduz exit and follow signs towards Vaduz. Cross the border from Switzerland into Liechtenstein. In Vaduz, follow the mountain road towards Triesenberg and Steg, and then continue to Malbun. In Malbun, park at one of the available parking lots near the Bergbahnen Malbun. Parking is free. From the parking area, walk to the chairlift station.
