Take the bus to Malbun Zentrum. From the bus stop, walk towards the Friedenskapelle. The trailhead is located near the chapel. Bus fare from Vaduz to Malbun is approximately CHF 3.00 - CHF 4.50.

Drive to Malbun and park in the village parking area. Parking is available at the entrance of Malbun. From the parking lot, walk towards the Friedenskapelle. The trailhead is located near the chapel. Parking fees in Malbun range from CHF 3-5 per day.

The Rundweg Sass, also known as the Sass Trail, is a popular and well-maintained circular hiking trail located near the mountain village of Malbun in Liechtenstein. Suitable for hiking throughout the year, the trail offers a delightful experience for visitors of all ages and skill levels.The route typically begins in the heart of Malbun, near the Friedenskapelle (Peace Chapel), the highest church in Liechtenstein. From there, the path gently ascends, passing through light forests and across meadows, providing excellent views of the valley below. A notable stop along the way is the Sass-Seelein, a scenic spot perfect for a picnic. The trail also leads to Alp Sass, before descending towards Schneeflucht and returning to the starting point in Malbun.The Rundweg Sass is considered an easy hike, making it suitable for families and beginner hikers. The well-prepared path is also accessible with a large-wheeled children's buggy up to Sass-Seelein. The hike typically takes around 2 hours to complete, covering a distance of approximately 4.5 km with an elevation gain of about 200 meters.
