Walking
From the Lindau Inselbahnhof (main train station on the island), the Bayerischer Löwe is a short and pleasant walk. Exit the station and head towards the harbor. Walk along the Seepromenade, keeping the lake on your right. You'll see the lion standing proudly at the harbor entrance. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes and is mostly flat and paved.
Public Transport
If you arrive at Lindau-Reutin station (on the mainland), take a bus to the Lindau Insel (island). Several bus lines connect the mainland to the island. Once on the island, get off at a stop near the harbor (Hafen). From there, it's a short walk to the Bayerischer Löwe. A single bus fare is approximately €2-3.

Taxis are readily available in Lindau. From Lindau-Reutin station or any location on the mainland, a taxi to the Bayerischer Löwe on the island will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The estimated cost is between €15-€25.
