Alternatively, from May to October, a Heidi Bus (PostBus) departs from Maienfeld Station on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. Check the SBB website for the most up-to-date schedule.

From Maienfeld railway station, follow the Heidiweg (Heidi Trail), a scenic marked path leading to Heididorf. The walk is approximately 2.4 km and takes around 35-40 minutes. The trail leads through the historic town of Maienfeld and past vineyards. Luggage storage is available at the Heidi-Shop/Tourist Information at Bahnhofstrasse 1 for a small fee.

From the A13 motorway, take exit 13 (Maienfeld) and follow the brown signs for Heididorf. The Heididorf car park is located directly beneath the Hotel Restaurant Heidihof. Parking is free. The navigation address for the Heididorf visitor car park is Bovelweg 16, 7304 Maienfeld. From the car park, it is about a 5-minute walk to Heididorf.
