    From Maienfeld railway station, you have a couple of options to reach the Heidiweg trail. You can walk along the Heidiweg, following the signs, which takes approximately 35-40 minutes to reach Heididorf. Alternatively, from May to October, the Heidi Bus (PostBus) operates on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, providing a direct connection to Heididorf. Check the SBB website for the most up-to-date bus schedule. A single PostBus fare is approximately CHF 3-5.

  • Walking

    From Maienfeld railway station, follow the red "Heidiweg" signs. The trail leads you through the historic town of Maienfeld and past vineyards. The walk to Heididorf is approximately 2.4km and takes around 40 minutes. Luggage storage is available at the Heidi-Shop/Tourist Information at Bahnhofstrasse 1 for a small fee.

  • Car

    From the A13 motorway, take exit number 13, "Maienfeld", and follow the brown signs for "Heididorf". These signs will lead you to the center of Maienfeld. From there, follow the brown "Heididorf" signs with the car symbol. The Heididorf car park is located directly in front of the Hotel Restaurant Heidihof. Parking is free.
