Künstlerhaus Palais Thurn und Taxis is an international hub for contemporary art located in Bregenz, Austria. Housed in what was originally the Villa Gülich, the building was constructed in 1848. Later, Gustav Prinz von und zu Thurn und Taxis purchased the property in 1887, giving the palace its current name. The city of Bregenz acquired the property in 1915. The villa features monthly changing exhibitions and international programs. The Berufsvereinigung Bildender Künstlerinnen und Künstler Vorarlbergs (Professional Association of Visual Artists of Vorarlberg) is responsible for the program's design, making it an autonomous and interdisciplinary space. In addition to the art, the surrounding park is considered one of Austria's most important gardens, featuring exotic trees and plants. The garden was established in 1887 and has been a protected monument since 1929.
