Walking
From the Maienfeld train station, the Heidiweg is a clearly marked circular route. Follow the red 'Heidiweg' signs through the town and towards the Heidi Village. The walk to the Heidi Village takes approximately 35-40 minutes. Luggage storage is available at the Tourist Information Center near the train station for a small fee.
Public Transport
From Maienfeld train station, take the Heidi Bus (PostAuto), which operates on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from May to October. The bus ride to Heididorf is short. Outside of these times, bus line 14 runs three times a day from Maienfeld, Post to Maienfeld, Heididorf and costs CHF 1–3. Check the SBB website for the most up-to-date schedule.
