    From Wasserauen train station, walk a short distance to the Ebenalp cable car station. Take the cable car up to the Ebenalp mountain station. From there, follow the well-marked path downhill for approximately 15-25 minutes through the Wildkirchli caves to reach Aescher Guesthouse. Cable car round trip: CHF 34 for adults, CHF 14 for children (6-15 years). Children with SBB Junior Card or under age 6 ride free.

    For a more challenging but rewarding experience, hike from Wasserauen to Aescher Guesthouse. Follow the signs towards Seealpsee, then continue uphill towards Aescher. The hike is steep in places and takes approximately 2.5 hours. Ensure you have appropriate footwear and a good level of fitness.
