Public Transport
From the Schaan train station, take bus line 12 towards Vaduz and get off at the 'Oberhalb Schaan-Vaduz' stop. The bus ride takes about 10-15 minutes and costs around 2-3 CHF. From the bus stop, walk towards the trailhead, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs for Schaaner Panoramaweg to reach Gafleisattel, which will take about 30 minutes of hiking.
Car
From Schaan, follow the signs for 'Schaaner Panoramaweg' and head towards Vaduz. Near Vaduz, take the exit to 'Oberhalb Schaan-Vaduz'. Continue until you reach a parking area near the trailhead. GPS coordinates for the parking area are approximately 47.1500, 9.5500. From the parking area, hike approximately 30 minutes along a well-marked trail to reach Gafleisattel. Parking fees may apply.
Hiking
If you are already on the Schaaner Panoramaweg or in the vicinity of Fürstensteig, look for signs indicating the direction toward Gafleisattel. The hike is approximately 1.5 kilometers uphill and should take around 30 minutes. Ensure you have proper hiking shoes and water, as the trail can be steep in some areas. The trail is well-marked.
