Getting There

• Public Transport

  From Jonava, walk to the Jonava bus station, which is located in the center of town. Once there, take a bus heading towards Kaunas. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as departures may vary. Upon arrival at the Kaunas bus station, exit the station and head to the nearest bus stop. From there, take bus number 29 or 30 towards 'Pažaislis'. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes. The bus will make a stop near the Pažaislis Monastery and Church. After getting off the bus, follow the signs leading to T. Masiulio g. 31, which is a short 5-minute walk.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk from the center of Jonava to Kaunas, you can follow the main road (A6) south towards Kaunas. It is a distance of approximately 25 kilometers, so this option is best for those who enjoy long walks. Walking will take several hours, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Upon reaching Kaunas, you will need to navigate to T. Masiulio g. 31. You can ask locals for directions, as the monastery is a well-known landmark.

• Bicycle

  For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike in Jonava and take the A6 road towards Kaunas. The distance is about 25 kilometers, and it should take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your cycling speed. Once you arrive in Kaunas, head towards the city center and follow the signs to T. Masiulio g. 31. You may also use a GPS-enabled device or map application for easier navigation to the monastery.
