Walking
If you are starting at the Kaunas Central Railway Station, exit the station and head southwest on Maironio g. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Vytauto pr. Turn left onto Vytauto pr. and continue walking until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Vilniaus g. Kauno senamiestis will be on your right after about 5 minutes of walking.
Public Transport - Bus
If you are near the Kaunas Central Market, walk to the nearest bus stop called 'Turgus'. Take bus number 29 towards 'Ringaudai'. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Laisvės al. – Vytauto pr.' stop. From there, walk towards Vilniaus g. and continue straight. Kauno senamiestis is about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
Tram
If you are near the Žalgiris Arena, walk to the nearest tram stop called 'Žalgirio Arena'. Take tram number 1 towards 'Karaliaus Mindaugo pr.' and get off at the 'Savanorių pr. – Maironio g.' stop. From there, walk towards Maironio g., then turn left onto Vilniaus g. Kauno senamiestis will be just a short walk down the road.
