Public Transport
Start your journey from the Klaipėda city center. Head to the central bus station located at Dariaus ir Girėno g. 29. From there, take bus number 30 towards Neringa. The bus will take you across the Curonian Lagoon to the Neringa municipality. Get off at the 'Juodkrantė' stop, which is the main town on the Curonian Spit. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Juodkrantė, follow the signs to the beach, and walk along the coastal path towards the Vecekrugas Dune. The dune is about a 30-minute walk from the bus stop. Look out for signs indicating the route to Vecekrugas Dune.

If you're already in Juodkrantė, you can easily walk to Vecekrugas Dune. From the Juodkrantė bus stop, head southeast towards the beach. Once you reach the beach, turn right and walk along the shoreline. You'll pass through a beautiful coastal area. Continue walking for about 2 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the Vecekrugas Dune. The dune is well-marked, and you'll enjoy stunning views of the Curonian Lagoon along the way.
