Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Baton Rouge Riverfront Plaza, head east on Convention Street toward the Mississippi River. Continue straight until you reach Lafayette Street, then turn left. Walk along Lafayette Street for about 0.5 miles, and you will see the Shaw Center for the Arts on your right at 100 Lafayette St.

• Public Transit

  From the Baton Rouge Amtrak Station, walk to the nearest bus stop at Florida Street and 4th Street. Take Bus Line 1 (North Street) towards the Mall of Louisiana. Get off at the stop at 3rd Street and North Boulevard. From there, walk south on 3rd Street for about 0.3 miles until you reach Lafayette Street, then turn left. Continue for a couple of blocks, and the Shaw Center for the Arts will be on your right.

• Bicycle

  If you are renting a bicycle, start from the LSU campus area. Head south on Nicholson Drive, then turn left onto East Boyd Drive. Continue until you reach the intersection of East Boyd Drive and North Boulevard. Turn right onto North Boulevard and keep going until you hit Lafayette Street. Turn left onto Lafayette Street, and you will find the Shaw Center for the Arts at 100 Lafayette St.
