If you are driving from downtown Bayou Teche, take Main St heading south. Continue on Main St until you reach LA-86 S. Turn left onto LA-86 S. Continue on LA-86 S for approximately 10 miles until you reach the intersection with US-90. Merge onto US-90 W. After about 5 miles, take the exit toward New Iberia/LA-182. Turn right onto LA-182 E and follow it for about 3 miles. Turn left onto Rip Van Winkle Rd, and Rip's Rookery will be on your left at 5505 Rip Van Winkle Rd, New Iberia, LA 70560.

Once you reach the intersection with US-90, you can carefully navigate to LA-182 E. Ride along LA-182 E for about 3 miles until you reach Rip Van Winkle Rd. Turn left onto Rip Van Winkle Rd, and you will find Rip's Rookery on your left. Make sure to wear a helmet and stay hydrated!
