If you are driving from the nearest major city, Alexandria, LA, start by taking US-165 N from downtown Alexandria. Continue on US-165 N for about 10 miles. Merge onto I-49 N toward Shreveport. Stay on I-49 N for approximately 20 miles until you reach exit 85 for LA-1185. Take the exit and turn left onto LA-1185 W. Follow LA-1185 W for about 5 miles, then turn right onto Wakefield Blvd. Compton Park will be located at 4358 Wakefield Blvd. There is no entrance fee for Compton Park.
