Continue on US-90 Business and follow signs for the French Quarter. Once you reach the French Quarter, look for Chartres St. The Cabildo is located at 701 Chartres St, New Orleans, LA 70130. There are public parking lots nearby, but fees may apply, typically ranging from $5 to $15 depending on the duration of your stay.

For those using public transit, take the RTA bus line 5 from various locations in Lake Pontchartrain to the Canal Street stop in New Orleans. From Canal Street, transfer to the streetcar line (the Riverfront or the St. Charles line) and get off at the French Market stop. From there, it's a short walk (about 10 minutes) to The Cabildo at 701 Chartres St. Be prepared for a fare of about $1.25 for the bus and the same for the streetcar.
