The Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center will be on your left at 480 Richland Pl.

    Begin your journey at the Monroe Civic Center located at 401 Lea Joyner Memorial Expy. Head south on Lea Joyner Memorial Expy and take the right onto South Grand Street. Continue for about 1 mile and then turn left onto Richland Place. Follow Richland Place for about 1 mile, and the Visitor Center will be on your right at 480 Richland Pl. This route is approximately 2.5 miles and should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.

    If you're starting from the Monroe Civic Center, walk south on Lea Joyner Memorial Expy for about 1 mile. When you reach South Grand Street, take a left and continue walking for another mile.
