Walking
If you are starting from the Monroe Regional Airport, exit the airport and head south on US-165. Walk towards the bus stop on the right side of the road. From there, take the Ouachita Transit bus (route 3) towards the downtown area. Get off at the 'Grove St @ 3rd St' stop. From the bus stop, walk east on Grove Street until you reach the intersection with Lea Joyner Memorial Expy. Turn left and continue walking until you reach the Monroe Civic Center located at 401 Lea Joyner Memorial Expy.
Public Transit
If you are in downtown Monroe, locate the nearest Ouachita Transit bus stop. Take the bus on route 2 towards the Monroe Regional Airport. Get off at the 'Lea Joyner Memorial Expy @ Civic Center' stop. The Monroe Civic Center will be right in front of you. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times and routes.
Biking
If you have access to a bike, start from downtown Monroe. Head east on DeSiard Street until you reach the intersection of Lea Joyner Memorial Expy. Turn right onto Lea Joyner Memorial Expy and continue straight for about half a mile. The Monroe Civic Center will be on your right, just past the intersection with the local shopping centers.
