Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the French Quarter, head northeast on Chartres Street towards Esplanade Avenue. Turn right onto Esplanade Avenue and continue until you reach North Rampart Street. Turn left onto North Rampart Street, and you will find Louis Armstrong Park at 701 N Rampart St, just a short walk away.

    From the historic Jackson Square, exit the square heading northwest towards Chartres Street. Turn left on Chartres Street and walk until you reach Esplanade Avenue. Turn right on Esplanade Avenue and proceed to North Rampart Street. Once you reach North Rampart Street, turn left, and Louis Armstrong Park will be ahead on your right.

    Board the St. Charles Streetcar at the St. Charles Avenue stop. Ride the streetcar until you reach Canal Street. Transfer to the Canal Street Streetcar and head towards the Cemeteries.
