From anywhere in the River Parishes, you can reach Magnolia Mound Plantation by car. If you're coming from LaPlace, take I-10 East towards Baton Rouge. After about 40 miles, take exit 155A for I-110 N toward Baton Rouge. Continue on I-110 N for about 2 miles, then take exit 1A for Florida St. Merge onto Florida St and continue for about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Nicholson Dr, and after about 0.5 miles, the plantation will be on your right at 2161 Nicholson Dr. Parking is available on site.

To reach Magnolia Mound Plantation using public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus to Baton Rouge. Once you arrive at the Greyhound station, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service (such as Uber or Lyft) to the plantation. The taxi ride is approximately 10-15 minutes and will cost around $15-$20 depending on traffic.

If you are in a nearby city like Gonzales, you can drive to Baton Rouge. Head north on LA-44, then merge onto I-10 E. After approximately 25 miles, take exit 155A for I-110 N. Continue for about 2 miles, exiting onto Florida St. Continue on Florida St to Nicholson Dr. After parking near the plantation, you will have a short walk to the entrance, which is about 0.2 miles from the parking area.
