    If you are driving from the River Parishes area, take I-10 East towards New Orleans. Take exit 234B for St. Charles Avenue. Merge onto St. Charles Avenue, then turn left onto Canal Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Chartres Street. Turn right onto Chartres Street, and you will arrive at Jackson Square, located just ahead on your left. Be mindful of parking regulations in the French Quarter, as street parking is limited and metered. Expect to pay around $1.50 per hour for parking.

    For public transportation, you can take the Jefferson Transit (JET) bus service to New Orleans. Look for the JET Route 100 which connects you from the River Parishes to the city. Get off at Canal Street and transfer to the RTA bus service. Take the RTA bus number 5 or 11 towards the French Quarter, and get off at the stop closest to Jackson Square. The fare for the bus is approximately $1.25 per ride.

    Another option is to take the streetcar. After reaching Canal Street via bus or car, you can catch the historic St. Charles streetcar line. Board the streetcar heading towards Carrollton and ride it to the end of the line. After that, transfer to the Riverfront streetcar line at the transfer station. Ride the Riverfront streetcar until you reach the stop for Jackson Square. A single ride on the streetcar costs $1.25.
