    From Sabine National Wildlife Refuge, head southwest on LA-27 S (also known as Gulf Hwy). Continue on LA-27 S for approximately 10 miles. You will come to a fork in the road; take the exit toward TX-87 S. After about 5 miles, keep right to stay on TX-87 S. Continue for another 5 miles, and then turn left onto Clam Lake Rd. McFaddin National Wildlife Refuge will be on your right after about 1 mile. The total driving time should be around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic.
