If you are in Downtown Riverfront, begin at the Shreveport Convention Center located at 400 Caddo St, Shreveport, LA 71101. From the Convention Center, head south on Caddo St towards Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway. Turn left onto Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. You will notice the J. Bennett Johnston Waterway Regional Visitor Center on your right at 700 Clyde Fant Memorial Pkwy. The walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes.

For those with access to a bicycle, you can rent a bike at one of the local rental stations in Downtown Riverfront. Start at the nearest bike rental location and ride south on Caddo St towards Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway. Once you reach Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway, turn right and continue straight for about 0.5 miles. The visitor center will be on your right at 700 Clyde Fant Memorial Pkwy. This ride should take around 5-10 minutes depending on your speed.
