Getting There

• Walking

  If you're in the Highland Historic District, start by heading south on Line Avenue. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Kings Highway. Take a left onto Kings Highway and walk straight for about half a mile until you reach the intersection with Clyde Fant Parkway. From there, turn right onto Clyde Fant Parkway. The Shreveport Aquarium will be on your right at 601 Clyde Fant Parkway. Expect to walk approximately 25-30 minutes depending on your pace.

• Public Bus

  You can take the City of Shreveport public bus service. Look for Bus Route 2 (the 'MLK/Valley' route) at the nearest bus stop in Highland Historic District. Board the bus and ride for about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop near Clyde Fant Parkway. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the aquarium. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the most current departure times. A one-way fare is typically around $1.00.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer a quicker method, consider renting a bicycle from a local rental shop. There are several bike-friendly paths in the area. Once you have your bike, head south on Line Avenue, then turn left onto Kings Highway and continue to Clyde Fant Parkway. The aquarium is located at 601 Clyde Fant Parkway. Riding a bike should take you around 10-15 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
