Getting There

• Walking

  If you are already in Downtown Riverfront, you can walk to Shreveport Riverview Park in just a few minutes. Start at the intersection of Louisiana Avenue and Clyde Fant Parkway. Head south on Clyde Fant Parkway. As you walk, you’ll see beautiful views of the Red River. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles, and you will arrive at the entrance to Riverview Park, located at 601 Clyde Fant Parkway. The park is on your left side, and you can easily access it from the sidewalk.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the nearby bike-sharing stations in Downtown Riverfront. Once you have a bike, head towards Clyde Fant Parkway. Cycle south on Clyde Fant Parkway for about 0.5 miles, and you will reach Shreveport Riverview Park at 601 Clyde Fant Parkway. Make sure to follow the bike lanes for safety, and park your bike in the designated bike racks upon arrival.

• Public Transport

  If you prefer using public transport, you can catch the local bus service. Look for the Shreveport Transit bus that goes to the Downtown area. Check the schedule for the nearest bus stop to your location. Once on the bus, ask the driver to let you know when you reach the 'Clyde Fant Parkway' stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the park. Head south on Clyde Fant Parkway until you reach the entrance at 601 Clyde Fant Parkway. Be prepared to pay a fare of around $1.25 for the bus ride.
