If you are in the Highland Historic District, start by heading south on any street towards the intersection with Kings Highway. Once you reach Kings Highway, turn right and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Line Avenue. At Line Avenue, turn left and walk until you reach the intersection with North Spring Street. Turn right onto North Spring Street, and you will find the Spring Street Historical Museum at 525 N Spring St, Shreveport, LA 71101. The total walking distance is approximately 1.5 miles and should take around 30-40 minutes.

From anywhere in the Highland Historic District, locate the nearest bus stop. Board the SporTran bus route that services the Highland area. Typically, you would take Bus Route 6 (Line Avenue) and ride towards the downtown area. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of Line Avenue and North Spring Street. From there, walk north on North Spring Street for about 5 minutes. The museum will be on your left at 525 N Spring St, Shreveport, LA 71101.
