From downtown Slidell, walk to the nearest bus stop at the intersection of Gause Blvd and Robert Blvd. Take the 203 bus towards New Orleans. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Canal at Bourbon' stop in New Orleans. From there, walk south on Bourbon Street for about 10 minutes until you reach St Ann Street. Turn right on St Ann Street, and you will find the 1850 House Museum & Gift Shop at 523 St Ann St.
