From Slidell, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the 'Northshore Transit' bus heading towards New Orleans. Make sure to check the schedule for the next departure. The bus will take you along the I-10 to the New Orleans area. Once you reach the 'Canal at Rampart' stop in New Orleans, disembark the bus. From there, walk towards Canal Street and turn right onto Chartres Street. Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes until you reach 300 Chartres St, where the Chart Room is located.
Train
If you're near the Slidell Amtrak station, take the Amtrak train heading towards New Orleans. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal, exit the station and head towards Loyola Avenue. You can either take a streetcar or walk towards Canal Street. From Canal Street, turn right onto Chartres Street and continue for about 10-15 minutes until you reach 300 Chartres St, home of the Chart Room.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from a nearby rental shop in Slidell. Start your journey heading south on Gause Blvd towards the I-10 bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the route to the New Orleans area. Once on the New Orleans side, navigate towards the French Quarter by following the signs or using a map application. Once you reach the French Quarter, find Chartres Street and bike along it until you reach 300 Chartres St, where the Chart Room is located.
Walking
If you're in Slidell and prefer to walk, you can plan a walking route using a map application. However, this would be quite a long journey. A more practical option would be to take a bus or train to New Orleans and then walk to the Chart Room from there. Once in New Orleans, head towards Canal Street, turn right onto Chartres Street, and walk until you reach 300 Chartres St.
