To reach Fairview-Riverside State Park from downtown Slidell, you can take the St. Tammany Transit Bus Route 90. Board the bus at the Slidell Transit Center located at 1000 Old Spanish Trail, Slidell, LA. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance for the exact departure times. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at the intersection of Highway 22 and Fairview Drive. From there, it is a short 0.5-mile walk to the park entrance. Head east on Fairview Drive until you see the park entrance on your left.

Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from a local bike shop in Slidell. Start at the Slidell City Park located at 7th St and Gause Blvd E. From the park, head north on 7th St until you reach Gause Blvd E. Turn left and continue on Gause Blvd E, then turn right onto Highway 11/Northshore Blvd. Follow the bike lanes until you reach Highway 22. Turn left onto Highway 22, and after about 5 miles, turn right onto Fairview Drive. The park entrance will be on your right.

For those who enjoy walking, find your way to the intersection of Gause Blvd E and 7th St in Slidell. From there, walk north on 7th St until you hit Gause Blvd E. Turn left and walk along Gause Blvd E for about 2.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 11. Cross safely at the crosswalk and continue straight onto Highway 22. Walk along Highway 22 for about 5 miles, then turn right onto Fairview Drive. The entrance to Fairview-Riverside State Park will be on your right.
