If you are in the heart of Slidell, start at the Slidell City Hall located at 2045 Second St, Slidell, LA 70458. Head north on Second St towards Gause Blvd (US-190). Turn right onto Gause Blvd and walk until you reach the Slidell Amtrak Station. From here, catch a train bound for New Orleans. Once you arrive at the New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal, exit the station and head to the Canal Street streetcar stop. Board the streetcar heading towards the French Quarter. Get off at the Bourbon St stop. Walk a short distance down Bourbon St, and you will find the Old Absinthe House located at 240 Bourbon St on your right.
