From Slidell, head to the nearest bus stop and take the JET bus (Route 94) towards New Orleans. The bus will take you directly into the city. Once you arrive in New Orleans, disembark at the Canal at Chartres stop. From there, walk south on Chartres Street for about 5 minutes until you reach 751 Chartres St, where The Presbytère is located.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can cycle from Slidell to New Orleans. Start by heading south on Gause Blvd E until you reach the Pontchartrain Causeway. Take the Causeway across Lake Pontchartrain. Once you reach the end, continue on US-90 W towards New Orleans. When you arrive in the French Quarter, find your way to Chartres Street. The Presbytère is located at 751 Chartres St. Please ensure to follow all bike laws and wear a helmet!
Taxi or Rideshare
For a more direct option, you can use a taxi or rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Simply request a ride to 751 Chartres St, New Orleans, LA 70116. The driver will take you directly to the location. This is a convenient option if you prefer not to navigate public transportation.
Walking
If you are staying in a nearby area of Slidell, you might consider walking to a bus station or a taxi service. However, this would be impractical as the distance is considerable (approximately 30 miles). It is highly recommended to utilize public transport or rideshare options for a more efficient journey to The Presbytère.
