From the center of Slidell, head south on Gause Boulevard toward the I-10 overpass. Continue straight until you reach the Slidell Amtrak Station. Take the Amtrak train towards New Orleans. Once in New Orleans, disembark at the Union Passenger Terminal. From there, exit the terminal and walk towards Canal Street. Catch the streetcar at the Canal Street streetcar line heading to the ‘Carrollton’ line. Get off at the St. Charles Ave. stop. From there, walk east on St. Charles Avenue until you reach Third Street. Turn left on Third Street, and you will find the Walter Grinnan Robinson House at 1415 Third St.

From the center of Slidell, walk to the nearest bus stop on Gause Boulevard. Take the St. Tammany Transit Bus heading to New Orleans.
