    From Slidell, head to the nearest bus stop which is located at the Slidell Transit Center on E. Howze Beach Rd. Board the 40 or 44 bus heading towards New Orleans. After approximately 30-40 minutes, get off at the stop at Elysian Fields Ave and N. Rampart St. Walk east on Elysian Fields Ave for about 10 minutes until you reach Washington Square at 700 Elysian Fields Ave.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Slidell. Start from the center of Slidell and head south on Gause Blvd, then take a right onto US-11 S. Follow the bike lane for approximately 10 miles until you reach the intersection with Elysian Fields Ave. Turn left on Elysian Fields Ave and continue for about 2 miles until you reach Washington Square at 700 Elysian Fields Ave.

Start at the Slidell City Hall, head east on 1st St, then turn left onto Gause Blvd. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with US-11 S.
