If you're starting in the center of Slidell, head to the nearest bus stop for the Jefferson Transit bus line. Take the bus towards New Orleans, and make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach Canal Street. Once you arrive at Canal Street, walk east for about 10 minutes until you reach 5000 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119. The cemetery will be on your left.

From Slidell, you can rent a bike and follow the scenic route along the lakefront towards New Orleans. Head towards the Lakeshore Drive and make your way to the Pontchartrain Causeway. Cross over and continue on US-90 toward New Orleans. Once you reach Canal Street, turn left and cycle east for about 1 mile until you reach St. Patrick Cemetery No. 1 at 5000 Canal St.

If you prefer walking and are staying near the downtown area of Slidell, start at the Slidell City Hall. Walk south towards Gause Blvd, then head west towards the Pontchartrain Landing. From there, follow the shoreline until you reach the ferry terminal. Take the ferry across to New Orleans, and once you disembark, walk east along the riverfront until you hit Canal Street. Make a right turn and walk about a mile to reach St. Patrick Cemetery No. 1 at 5000 Canal St.
