Walking
From the center of Echternach, start at the Echternach Abbey (Abbaye d'Echternach). Head southeast on Rue de l'Abbatiale toward Rue de la Montée. Continue straight onto Rue de la Montée, then take a left onto Rue du Marché. Follow this road until you reach the main square (Place de la Résistance). From here, you can take bus number 112 towards Luxembourg City. The bus journey takes about 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Luxembourg, Gare Routière' stop. Walk to the nearby 'Luxembourg, Place de la Constitution' stop and board bus number 1 or 16 towards 'Luxembourg, Pescatore'. After about 15 minutes, get off at 'Luxembourg, Rue Sigefroi'. The Michaelskirche will be a short walk from the bus stop, just follow Rue Sigefroi until you reach the church.
Public Transport
From Echternach's main bus station (Gare Centrale), take bus number 112 towards 'Luxembourg, Gare Routière'. This bus will take you directly to Luxembourg City and the journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Luxembourg, Gare Routière', transfer to bus number 1 or 16 heading towards 'Luxembourg, Pescatore'. Ride for about 15 minutes and disembark at 'Luxembourg, Rue Sigefroi'. The Michaelskirche will be a short walk away, just continue straight on Rue Sigefroi.
