From the center of Echternach, head towards the Rue de la Gare. Walk along this street until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rue des Ecoles. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue d'Echternach. Here, you will see signs directing you towards Berdorf. Take a left onto Rue d'Echternach and follow this road. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will enter the village of Berdorf. Keep an eye out for signposts indicating Hohllay cave. The cave entrance is located on Rue d'Echternach, approximately 400 meters from the village center. Look for the marked path leading to the cave.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike in Echternach. Start at the central square and head towards Rue de la Gare. Continue on this road and follow the signs towards Berdorf. The bike path is scenic and will lead you along the countryside. After cycling for about 2 kilometers, you will reach Berdorf. Once in the village, follow the signs for Hohllay cave. The entrance is on Rue d'Echternach, about 400 meters from the village center. Make sure to park your bike at the designated area before exploring the cave.
