Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Echternach, head towards the Basilica of Saint Willibrord, which is located at Place de l'Église. Once you reach the Basilica, take the path that leads to the right of the church. This path will take you along the banks of the lake, which is a beautiful and scenic area. Continue walking along the lake until you come across a small bridge. Cross the bridge, and from there, you will see a sign directing you towards Paulsplatte. Follow the path that leads into the woods, and after approximately 15-20 minutes of walking, you will arrive at Paulsplatte, a lovely scenic spot perfect for relaxation and enjoying nature.

• Cycling

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Echternach. Begin your journey from the town center and head towards the main road, Rue de la Gare. Follow this road until you reach the bike path that runs parallel to the river. Turn onto the bike path and continue until you see signs for Paulsplatte. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, and you will enjoy the beautiful views along the river. Once you reach the signs for Paulsplatte, follow the designated cycling path into the woods, and you will find yourself at the scenic spot.

• Public Transport

  For those who would prefer to use public transport, you can take a bus from the Echternach bus station. Look for the bus route that goes towards the nearby town of Berdorf. Get off at the stop closest to the hiking trails. From there, follow the signs for the walking trails leading to Paulsplatte. The walk will take about 20-30 minutes, offering a chance to enjoy the natural scenery along the way.
