Getting There

  • Bus

    From Remich, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on the main road by the Moselle River. Take bus line 110 towards Luxembourg City. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the 'Hamilius' stop in Luxembourg City. From there, walk towards Boulevard F. D. Roosevelt, which is a straight path. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Rue du Fossé. Turn left on Rue du Fossé, and William Square will be just a short walk ahead on your right.

  • Train and Bus

    Start by walking to the Remich train station. Board a train heading towards Luxembourg City. Once you arrive at Luxembourg train station, exit and look for the bus terminal located right outside the station. Take bus line 1 or 16 from the bus terminal towards 'Gare Routière'. After a few stops, get off at 'Hamilius'. From Hamilius, walk towards Boulevard F. D. Roosevelt, and then turn left onto Rue du Fossé. Continue walking straight for a few minutes, and you will arrive at William Square.

    If you prefer to walk from Remich to William Square, it is a scenic route of about 12 kilometers. Start at the center of Remich and head north along the Moselle River. Follow the riverbank path until you reach the bridge that leads to the main road. Cross the bridge and continue walking straight towards Luxembourg City. As you approach the city, you can follow signs for the city center. Once you reach the city, head towards Boulevard F. D. Roosevelt, then turn left onto Rue du Fossé. William Square will be on your right.
